Post SIGGRAPH 2005

Well I am back from my tremendously exciting convention in LA. I got to sit in on lectures given by alot of the production crew from teh Madagascar movie, a keynote address with George Lucas, and got to speak with PR people from all the major production companies ie Pixar, Dreamworks, Blue Sky, etc. WHAT A BLAST! I am soo excited to attend next year in 2006 when its hosted in Boston. I wont go into detail about that because there is just too much. But I came back Friday, lounged about, and monday me and my roomies drove to north Orlando to pick up a friend who is staying with thro the week. Then on saturday we are going to Tampa to see my family and spend some time there, and bring back my puppy and a kitten to live with us. The semester starts in less then 2 weeks, and I couldnt be happier. I have a clear idea of what is needed portfolio wise for my future application to Pixar as a pre- production artist, and also my grad school applications. Im also looking forward to a confrontation with a boy I know this week about his true feelings for me. I feel so always in the dark, not that its a persisting thing that nags me, I dont mind wether he cares for me or not, but its just i guess cause I was brought up with an idea of thtat there is SOME structure to a relationship, i believe that is the little voice I keep hearing. So there will be much drama. lol. Im actually looking forward to it. We are about to cancel cable here, so ive gotten my self into reading more, slowly weaning off tv, and i couldnt be happier. Ive read 3 books in less then 2 weeks. 2 of them were romance novels, so suddenly i feel the need for love drama, so im actually looking forward to the hurt feelings, emotional instability, and awkward shyness. It will be fun.
